Somehow the perception has built over time that Agile is just about meetings. It’s not. It’s about the entire system and how we deliver value to our clients.
So when I hear crazy things like “agile isn’t needed anymore because of AI”, I have to ask:
- Do you no longer care what the customer needs or about the value you’re delivering?
- Do you no longer care about the quality or reliability of the product?
- Do you no longer care if you’re able to sustain what you’re doing into the future?
Sure, some of the specific practices are going to change, but agile is a set of values and principles and those haven’t changed at all. Improving the way we deliver value to our clients is still critical.
